How it started
From one trade to two
Paul trained as a horticulturist and spent years in the trade, including a background in sports turf — the kind of ground that has to be right, not just tidy. That became a garden maintenance business built almost entirely on word of mouth across the Vale.
The logs came later. Supplying properly dried hardwood was a natural fit alongside the garden work — the same customers, the same area, the same standard. Today the two run side by side under one name: Major Logs and Garden Services.
It's still Paul you speak to, Paul who quotes the job, and Paul who turns up to do it.
